We are open 5 days a week (Wednesday to Sunday) serving quality traditional pub food and bar snacks. We also stock a wide range of beers, wines and spirits not forgetting the local ones too!

About us

Emily, Richard and the team warmly welcome locals and visitors alike to The Angel in Watlington.

We serve a wide selection of wines, spirits, cask ales (Cask Marque accredited) and lagers. Our restaurant offers locally sourced home cooked food with an ever changing menu although the favourites will always remain! We have great links with some amazing local suppliers and businesses and aim to always bring you the freshest ingredients of the best quality in all our dishes.

We also have a Big Green Egg in the kitchen that brings a great flavour of cooking on coals from the kitchen.

During winter come on in and warm yourself by one of our inviting open fires or in the summer sit out in our large garden and watch the world go by.

We are completely dog friendly.
